Fun with Polyvore!
I hope everyone is having a great day! I know I am! One more day till Friday, YAY! Ben and I are leaving for Greenville tomorrow to see his family, which should be a great time! His mother is going to have a packed house though... Ben, Annie and I plus Deana (older sister), her husband Mike and their two kids Riley and Andrew plus his grandmother! Lots of fun :)
Today, while talking to one of my sorority sisters, we got on the topic of work clothes (business casual) and how to dress appropriately. Business Casual could be taken a lot of ways.... it can either good or very bad. I mean, what does business casual even mean??? For companies it can be a lot of different things. In my opinion its always better to dress up then to be under dressed and too casual. I take business casual as put together, comfortable and classy. No jeans, t shirts, or flip flops for one thing but we aren't talking power suits and stilettos either. And because I love polyvore I decided to create some examples for you! I hope you like them!

Meet Minnie...And Michael! My first OOTD post!
Hello my dear followers,
I finally got a mirror and had the time to take my first OOTD pictures! Yay :) I hope you enjoy (forgive me for looking a little rumpled I took the pictures after work)
I found these J. Crew "Minnie" pants this weekend after reading countless reviews and endless searches for the perfect cropped black pant (see the classy Audrey Hepburn for inspiration!) And I absolutely LOVE these pants! Comfortable, flattering and super chic!
My watch was a purchase made during Belk's charity day sale! Its the only time during the year that Michael Kors is not an exclusion from sales/coupon and add in Mom's employee discount= I can actually afford a designer watch that I have been coveting forever! It super cute and for once not a watch that is too big for my wrist!
Life has been super busy lately, I've been working a lot and Ben has been working nights :( Boo for that! If it weren't for Annie I would be super lonely at night! Lucky, she is great company (as I write this she is sprawled out across the couch!) For a little dog she takes up lots of space on the couch, in the bed, etc......
I hope you all have had a fabulous Tuesday! I am counting down till Friday when Ben and I head to Greenville to his parents for Easter! I am so excited to see the family!

It's a beautiful day!
Hello lovely readers,
I hope you are all having a fabulous Sunday, I know I am! The weather in Atlanta has been beautiful this weekend, the temps were in the mid eighties yesterday and it looks like its going to be the same today! I am loving in all this warm weather and being able to wear my favorite clothes again :) This morning has been a productive morning, Sunday is my cleaning/chore day which is not exactly my favorite thing to do but I love to start the week off on a clean note.
On a more exciting note, I am on a mission today for a full length mirror! Partly because it will make it easier when getting dressed and because I want to do OOTD (outfit of the day) posts for y'all! YAY :)
p.s. I updated my blog layout, I hope y'all like it!

I'm becoming addicted to Newman's Own Peach Salsa.. Ben and I absolutely love it! You can find it in most grocery store's, I get mine at Publix.

Hello Spring!
Today has been the most beautiful weather!!! I am in heaven right now with all my windows and my balcony door wide open. It's 7 pm and its still warm and sunny. This is my favorite type of weather ( I could just do without all the pollen currently on my car!) I know my blogging has been sporadic and down to a weekly post, but I am trying to keep it up. Life is crazy right now, working on some big changes and patiently finding the right path to take.
This weekend, I was able to spend time with some of my favorite people at a lovely event called Carolina Cup! This is annual event for Ben and I. We have been looking forward to it for months! I was able to spend a lot of time with my G-little and to hang out with my favorite fraternity boys. It was quite an adventure- 800 miles in 3 days, lots of kinks in the travel plans but it was worth it! I had a great time and can't wait till next year!
Lately I have been working on decorating my apartment. Its been a long process finding affordable furniture and home decor items and its finally paying off!! I have had some great finds! Last week I found a couple of items in Hobby Lobby that were fabulous and today we scored a set of end tables for under $100! We found them in a flea/antique store my mom recommended! YAY!! I'll take pictures this week to share, I'm in the process of cleaning up the apartment-its kind of a disaster today, oops!
Also, I got my first letter from little of Thursday!! It totally made my day and I look forward to getting her next one!
